Privacy Policy

This policy covers both the Away Kingdom mobile game and the awaykingdom.com website. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Who is responsible
Away Kingdom is published by an independent developer based in Türkiye. As the data controller, we can be reached at hello@awaykingdom.com.
What the game collects
Account details (e-mail, username, and an irreversible hash of your password); a device identifier that anchors your kingdom while you play as a guest; game state (your kingdom, buildings, heroes, spells, research, clan, battle history, offline session times, tasks, achievements); your friend and clan relationships and what you write in clan chat; purchase records (product, price, time); a device push token so notifications can reach you; crash reports and usage events.
What the website collects
If you joined the waitlist before launch, the e-mail address you gave — the list is closed, but the address you gave is still held until you unsubscribe. Otherwise only anonymised traffic measurement. The password-reset page reads nothing but the single-use token in the link from your e-mail.
What we never collect
No advertising identifier (IDFA) and no cross-app tracking — the game has no ads, so we never show the tracking prompt. Location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, health data and browsing history are never requested. We never see your card details: Apple takes the payment.
Why we process it
To run your account and your kingdom (performance of a contract); to validate offline claims and clock tampering server-side, fix crashes and improve the game (legitimate interest); to send waitlist e-mail (consent — every message carries an unsubscribe link).
Service providers
Servers and database on Railway, website hosting on Vercel, e-mail through Resend, notifications and usage measurement through Google Firebase, crash reports through Sentry, and purchase validation through RevenueCat and Apple. All of them process data on our behalf. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with ad networks.
International transfers
These providers may host data in the European Union and the United States. Transfers take place under the providers' standard contractual clauses.
Retention and deletion
Game data is kept for as long as your account exists. Settings → Delete Account inside the game permanently removes your account and everything attached to it — kingdom, buildings, sessions, clan membership, purchase records — and cannot be undone. A waitlist e-mail address is kept until you unsubscribe.
Children
The game is rated 9+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, and delete it if we learn of it. Parents can request deletion at hello@awaykingdom.com.
Your rights (GDPR / KVKK)
You have the right to access, correct, erase, object to the processing of, and port your data. Write to hello@awaykingdom.com — we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your national data protection authority (in Türkiye, the KVKK Authority).
Cookies and analytics
We measure site traffic with Google Analytics 4; IP addresses are anonymised client-side and never matched to your identity. No marketing or remarketing cookies — otherwise only functional storage such as your language preference.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy we change the date on this page. For a significant change we will e-mail you if you have a registered account.
